New Project Window (New Project Wizard)

This window allows you to specify a name for a new project and where to save the new project you are creating. Which of the remaining fields it presents depends on the command that opened it. New Project in ePublisher Designer creates a Stationery design project, so the window asks for an output format. New Project in ePublisher Express, and New Project from Stationery... in ePublisher Designer, create a project based on Stationery, so the window asks for the Stationery to use.

The fields are defined as follows:

Project name

Specifies the name to use for your project.

Location

Specifies the folder in which to save your new project. Click Browse to open the Browse For Folder window where you can select the folder in which to save your new project.

Stationery or Designer project

Specifies what the new project takes its formats, output targets, and styles from. Click the folder icon to browse for Stationery (a .wxsp file) or an ePublisher Designer project (a .wep file). The new project is created as an ePublisher Express project (a .wrp file) either way, and it synchronizes with whichever origin you select. This field appears only when the window was opened to create a project based on Stationery.

Format

Specifies the output format to use for your project. You must specify at least one output format when you create the project. You can also specify additional output formats for the project after you create the project. This field appears only when the window was opened to create a Stationery design project in ePublisher Designer.
